In a statement copied to Adomonline.com, NUGS will present a petition to government after a procession through some principal streets of Accra.

It urged all demonstrators are to converge at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle (Obra Spot) which is the starting point at 6 am and match through the principal streets of Accra.

“From Nkrumah circle to Farisco traffic lights, then UTC through to Accra Polytechnics to Nkrumah mausoleum and finally converge at the hearts park where a formal petition will be submitted” the statement added.

NUGS urged all students, parents and guardians to join the demonstration because “Education is and must remain a RIGHT rather than PRIVILEGE as underscored in Article 25 of our 1992 constitution”.
