Ghana's CHAN Team, the local Black Stars will leave Accra tonight to play the Bright Stars of South Sudan in Juba on Saturday, Ghanasportsonline.com can exclusively reveal.

The local contingent will use the friendly as a preparation and dress rehearsal ahead of the 2015 COSAFA Tournament in South Africa in which Ghana have been invited as guest participants.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has invited 26 players who are expected to make the team tonight to face Africa's youngest nation in Juba on Saturday night before enplaning to South Africa to participate in the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) tournament.


Ghana have confirmed its participation as a guest nation to the tournament meant for Southern African Nations from May 17- 30.

The squad who are billed to fly tonight will play lower side Asokwa Deportivo in a preparatory match at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium before travelling to Accra for the Juba trip.
