Techiman based Winners FM Thursday had their studio razed down by fire.
Though the cause of the fire is not yet known, some workers of the station believe it has to do with faulty electrical connection from the air-conditioner that serves the studio.
“Every thing in the studio is burnt to ashes but we thank God the transmitter was not torched”, a staff member told rawgist.com after the incident.
Eye witnesses say it took fire officers some time and effort to completely put out the flames.
Many residents of the Brong Ahafo town are saddened by the occurrence and tell rawgist.com they will like to see the vibrant station back on its feet soon.
