Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice-Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described as a "national loss", the demise of the Kwasi Brenya, General Manager of Despite Group of Companies.

Paying tribute to the deceased, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said Ghana has lost a great leader in the media fraternity.

He recounted the hard work and immense contributions that the late Kwasi Brenya made towards making PeaceFM a giant in the media landscape.

“We’ve heard so much about what they’ve done together and he was General Manager of Peace FM right from the beginning…Seeing the growth of Peace FM and the quality of talent produced by the station with someone like that as General Manager from the beginning; you’ll know that he really worked hard. And it’s just a shame that he’s not with us here but I felt that this is Ghana’s loss...It’s not Peace FM loss," Dr. Bawumia stated.

He later signed the book of condolence in memory of the deceased.
