Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe Backs Nyantakyi To Boycot Hearts of Oak Matches

Former Ghana FA chairman Tamakloe says Nyantakyi was right with his decision not to patronise Hearts of Oaks games in Accra. Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe supports the bodys current president Kwasi Nyantakyi on his decision to boycott Hearts of Oaks games in Accra. Some irate fans of the Phobians verbally abused Nyantakyi after their defeat to Djoliba in the Caf Confederation Cup match at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday. According to the fans, the GFA did not treat them fairly ahead of their game against Djoliba after they had a late request to have a midweek league game against AshGold denied by the outfit. They also accused him of not making sure Hearts players get call ups to the Black Stars. Nyantakyi has since lodged a complaint with the police and intimated he may have to stop attending games in Accra for his safety. Tamakloe, who is also a board member of Hearts, says the FA chief has taken the right decision. If Kwasi has decided in the interim not to attend Hearts of Oaks matches I fully back him, Tamakloe told Joy FM. Those responsible for that act must be rounded up by the police and dealt with. They are criminals who must be handled like criminals. This is grossly irresponsible and I think it is time somebody put his foot down. If a criminal behaves criminally he should be handled that way. Hearts have officially apologised but Nyantakyi wants the suspects prosecuted.
