Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie wants former flag-bearer hopeful of his party, Arthur Kobina Kennedy to rather write about “Sensible” things that will benefit the nation.

According to him, his numerous letters to the NPP from his USA base is rather meant to destroy the party and not help the course of the MNPP as he thinks.

“There are so many issues in this country…I know he [Arthur Kennedy] can write well so he should rather concentrate on issues concerning the state rather than is malicious letters to the NPP.

"...Arthur K always creates confusion when there is none. He just wants to tag Nana Addo as a dictator in the NPP,” he said in an in an interview with OKAY FM’s "Ade Akye Abea" morning show.

His comments comes in the wake of accusations by Dr. Arthur Kennedy that NPP’s flag-bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo is scheming to remove from office, the duly elected Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong of the main opposition NPP.

But Sir John as affectionately called in politics stated categorically that “Nobody in the NPP party wants Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong out...Arthur Kennedy is not helping the party one bit”.

“NPP members are angry with Arthur Kennedy’s letter…not Akufo-Addo,” he added.
