Stop Secret Recording In NPP

A Contender for the Subin NPP parliamentary seat, Joseph Boakye Danquah, has called on NPP members who have resorted to secret recording of conversations of party gurus, which usually land in the media, to desist from the practice.

With a grim face, the NPP man, known in political circles as ‘Osono Papa’ said those who were into the weird business of recording conversations of their fellow party members were harming the NPP and that they should bow their heads in shame and turn a new leaf.

Mr. Danquah particularly expressed concern over the secret recording of a conversation of his opponent in the Subin NPP race, Eugene Boakye Antwi, on which the latter allegedly passed insalubrious remarks about Fantes.

He said even though he didn’t support Mr. Antwi’s unfortunate remarks, he was angry at the NPP members who recorded the conversation and put it in the media to brighten their chances of winning the Subin NPP primary.

“Their decision to put that unfortunate recording in the media shows their short-sightedness…,” Mr. Danquah noted.

He admonished NPP faithful across the country, especially those contesting for parliamentary positions in the party, to always let the general interest of the NPP overshadow their personal interest, stressing that the NPP as a party is bigger than anybody in the party.

Mr. Danquah said NPP members who engaged in such unhealthy practices were providing the NDC with arsenal to fight the NPP during the 2016 electioneering period.
