Paul Afoko & Kwabena Agyapong Meet With Party Executives In Tamale

Whereas some believe the New Patriotic Party [NPP] is not united to win back power from the ruling NDC, the party leadership is extremely going the extra mile to clinch victory come 2016.

Recently, both party Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong were absent in a steering committee meeting headed by the party’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Aftermath of the meeting was met with controversies which could possibly lessen the chances of the party in winning the 2016 polls.

However, the elephant’s former flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Arthur Kennedy has also accused Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo of scheming to remove from office, the duly elected party’s Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong.

Although Nana Addo is yet to respond to that claims, Mr. Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong are indefatigably working to ensure Nana Addo’s victory as president come 2016.

The duo are currently in Tamale as part of a regional tour to meet with party executive as the 2016 election approaches.

Chairman Afoko however took to his Facebook wall to say “we are planning on how to work hard to annex power in 2016 for the great Elephant family”.

“Currently in Tamale with the General secretary ,meeting all the constituency chairmen, nasara co-ordinators, organisers, women organisers, secretaries, youth organisers and regional executives of the great NPP to deliberate on the forward march of our party and to plan on how to work hard to annex power in 2016 for the great Elephant family,” he added.
