Kwabena Agyapong Is Living A Double Standard Lifestyle; Hes Part Of NPPs Woes - NPP Youth Organizer

The Brong Ahafo Regional NPP Youth Organizer, Kwame Bafo believes the current bickering in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should be blamed on his General Secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong.

According to him, the NPP Chief Scribe created the impression of tension in the party by lying to the media that he was not aware of the emergency meeting which was presided by the party’s First Vice Chairman, Hon. Freddie Blay.

Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" Moring Show, Kwame Bafo described the response given to the media of his unawareness of the emergency meeting as a double standard, explaining that he heard Kwabena Agyapong admitting that he had pre-discussion of the emergency meeting with Nana Akufo-Addo, Flagbearer of NPP to discard it.

He however wondered why Kwabena Agyapong could not tell the media he was aware of the meeting except that he could not take part due to his father-in-law’s funeral; stressing that his [Agyapong’s] excuse to exempt from the emergency meeting was genuine.

He again said the NPP General Secretary’s double standard lifestyle has created the impression that Nana Akufo-Addo does not want to work with Kwabena Agyapong and Paul Afoko; adding it is due to this behavior that encouraged Dr. Arthur Kennedy to write his article to attack Nana Akufo-Addo.

“Kwabena Agyapong made us aware that when Freddie Blay called him, he was not around to answer the call and later he received a text message from him….but he was on other station saying he was not aware of it. If someone sent you a message and you also said the Flagbearer discussed the meeting with you before it was held, why do you turn around to say you are not aware?” he chided.

“It is because of this double standard that Arthur Kennedy also wrote his article to attack Nana Addo but it is not true that Nana Addo doesn’t like Afoko and Agyapong. It is also because of this double standard of the General Secretary which has created the impression that there is bickering in NPP which is why he was not informed of the emergency meeting,” he fumed.

He was emphatic that Kwabena Agyapong is part of the woes of the NPP because he has never in any meeting he [Agyapong] has chaired reported anybody of flouting the rules and regulations governing the party; asking “if some people are violating the status quo, when did radio station become a judge to resolve our problem?”
