Our Tolerance Level Has Exceeded Tolerable Limits...Govt Will Hear From Us Shortly - Sammy Awuku

National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku is urging Ghanaians to consider breaking their long tolerance level and vent their anger on the NDC government for the increment of the fuel price.

According to the NPP Youth leader, if there is any time for Ghanaians to break their tolerance level it is now because the country cannot condone the hardship and the unstable power supply which has claimed many lives and businesses with the current fuel price increases.

Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Sammy Awuku bemoaned the hardship going on the country as some parents have to sell off their properties in order to pay their children’s school fees.

He said again that Ghana has reached the lowest moment since independence to the extent of using torchlight in the labor ward; stressing with the heat in the system, the worst thing Mahama government can do is to increase the price of fuel in Ghana.

“The drums of fuel used to power generators in companies are a cost to businesses and the extra cost we have to pay at the barbering salon due to the use of generator; what did Ghana do wrong in 2012 when NDC came into power for the second time?”, he bemoaned.

“Industries and companies are collapsing as well as people are losing their jobs. So NDC government didn’t consider all these predicaments where companies and industries are struggling to buy fuel to power their generators and they have increased fuel price. This government doesn’t deserve our patience as people,” he charged.

When the host Kwame Nkrumah Tikese asked of the action plan of the NPP, he said “from the youth point of view, then very soon you will hear from us in a dramatic way because we have realized that where we have reached, our tolerance level has exceeded tolerable limit”.
