Ghanas Problem Is Not Only Dumsor; All Major State Companies Are Being SoldWe Cant Keep Quiet - Katawere

Veteran Actor Ebenezer Donkor also known as Katawere has stated the need to continue to demonstrate to effect changes in the happenings in the country.

According to him, there are so many things going on wrong in the country as it is not only dumsor [erratic power supply] but shortage of water too which needs to be addressed by the NDC government.

Speaking on Oman Fm’s National Agenda, Katawere said it is not wrong for celebrities to belong to a political party as it is the expectation of everyone to see the country progress; thus celebrities are after the progress of the country.

His comment comes on the heels of the allegation that the #DumsorMustStop Vigil was masterminded by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He was of the view that since the government is taking good care of the citizens, it is proper for them to vent their frustrations to press home their legitimate concerns, averring that the Dumsor has been in the country for far too long for Ghanaians to keep quiet about it.

He further mentioned aside the Dumsor that the living conditions of Ghanaians are nothing good to be excited about as people are complaining of nonpayment of salaries and the constant shortage of water in the country.

“So you think our problem is only dumsor? You mean our salaries and everything is going on well in the country? The water shortage is also another serious problem in the country. All major state companies are being sold out and what will be the future of our generations if we allow this to continue,” he bemoaned.

“We can’t even pay our children’s school fees and so many things are going on wrong in the country; this is the state of the country we are battling wit,h, he added.
