NDC Is Willing To Offer Free Advice To NPP To End Internal Bickering - Yaw Boateng Gyan

Following the intensity of the tension in the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), former National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan has proposed to help the opposition party to find a lasting solution to their internal bickering.

According to him, the crisis in the opposition NPP is getting out of hand as it has resulted in the death of their Upper East regional Chairman, Mahama Adams.

To him, the idea of impeaching the National Chairman, Paul Afoko and the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong is not the solution to the crisis in the New Patriotic Party; believing it will further deepen the cracks in the party.

Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Yaw Boateng Gyan has called on the leadership of the NPP to come for a lasting solution from the ruling National Democratic Congress since it faced similar challenge but came out successfully.

He asserted that the opposition NPP should come out clear that it has the elders to handle the internal cracks otherwise the crisis will be unbearable for the opposition to maintain the party in opposition.

He was with the view that the NDC will be glad to help the opposition NPP if there is no solution to the crisis; thus it is the progress of the country that matters.

“I think they need our help because sometime ago we had similar challenge though not to this magnitude. We solved our problem amicably and if this is what they need in order to end their crisis, why not, we will help them because they are our family...we are all Ghanaians and we will help so that Ghana can progress,” he proposed.
