Wontumi Weeps As Agyepong & Afoko Invade Ashanti Region Without Informing Him

In an attempt to calm the raging tension in the New Patriotic Party, the party’s National Chairman and General Secretary were in Ashanti Region to hold talks with Constituency Chairmen but failed to inform the Regional Chairman.

Peacefmonline.com understands the meeting between Chairman Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong and the constituency chairmen was held behind closed doors in Asokwa at the Great Asor Hotel.

When Peacefmonline.com contacted the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman ‘Wontum’i over the issue, he informed us that “today is exactly a week my good friend Adams Mahama got murdered. I would want to dedicate this day thinking about the good things he did for the party rather than concentrate on something no one made me aware of. I am sad and still weeping because NPP lost a great man under bizarre circumstance”.

An aide to Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, Andy Owusu also tells Peacefmonline.com that prior to the meeting, they received nothing like a notification from the two executives and their presence in the region has taken them by surprise.

Exactly one week ago, the Upper East Regional Chairman for the party died of extensive acid burns and shock lungs (acute respiratory distress syndrome), an autopsy report has revealed.

The late Adams Mahama died after he was bathed with acid by some unscrupulous men, one of whom is alleged to be Gregory Afoko, younger brother of the national chairman, Paul Afoko.
