Roy Hodgson And Harry Rekdnapp To Visit Ghana To Train Local Coaches

Three Lions boss, Roy Hodgson and former Tottenham and QPR manager Harry Rekdnapp are set to visit Ghana to share technical expertise with local trainers in the West African country, according to the Ghana Football Association. Ghanaian coaches are set to benefit from the expertise of the top two British coaches in the special training programmes to be held in the country. The expected visit was the outcome of a meeting held between the president of the Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi, and the two coaches during a ceremony in London this week. Hodgson is currently the manager of the England National Team whiles Rekdnapp was in charge of Queens Park Rangers where he resigned earlier this year. "This is part of plans by the FA to help improve coaching in the country", GFA Communications Director Ibrahim Saani Daara disclosed to Graphic Sports "Training of coaches in the country has been part of GFA's vision and with support of Avram Grant we hope things will go well" he added. He further stressed that the move was initiated by Mr. Nyantakyi during the League Managers Association LMA) Awards night in London last Tuesday on his way to FIFA congress in Zurich, Switzerland.
