Congo To Drag Ghana To CAF?

Congolese Fopresident Jean Michel Mbono is reported to have hinted that his body will officially drag Ghana to CAF and the IOC over the alledged age-cheating of the Ghana U-23 National Team, Black Meteors.

Head coach of Congo Brazzaville U-23 team, Claude Leroy had questioned the ages of the Black Meteors following his side’s 1-0 defeat in the first leg tie last Saturday in an Olympics games qualifier at the Accra sports stadium.

Fécofoot, is believed to have arranged a meeting with the Le Roy in order to prove the authenticity of the allegations for further action, if the coach is able to provide further evidence to support his claims.

Leroy was reported to have said that the Congolese Federation President called for a meeting with him in Point Noire following his age cheating outburst .

“You say I’m talking because I lost and it is allegation, but the Federation President call me and I suppose to meet him and we see the next”,

“I can say that the action will be taken and I am not the right person to do but if Michel (Mbono) is concerned about it then we will go the extra to the authorities to see with the evidence”.

Leroy accused Ghana of using over age players in the first leg of the Olympic Qualifier in Accra

“I coached some of the players who played today in the CHAN qualifiers in 2008. I went to Niger with them and I know what I’m talking about.”

“I am not joking my brother, you can check. Some played with me way back in 2008 and they are now U23 playing today, it’s not fair”. Leroy stressed.

The Black Meteors are 3expected to travel to Congo in a fortnight’s time for the second leg tie.
