Following Thursday’s clash between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP's) National Chairman, Paul Afoko and the “Invisible Forces” stationed at the National Headquarters, the leader of the security group, Ahmed Dennis has called the supporters for a round-table discussion.

Some persons believed to be cohorts of Paul Afoko sustained various bodily injuries after the incident.

It was reported yesterday, May 28, 2015 that a group called Concerned Youth of NPP stormed the party’s head office chanting and singing songs to the effect that Chairman Afoko should be allowed entry to the national headquarters.

Leader of the group, Issaka Ibrahim stated on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show that the group rather went to the Nima Police to petition the police over security matters at the Headquarters and never engaged the Invisible Forces in any confrontational manner.

He however admitted that the clash might have occured when some of their members went to the NPP head office to confront the security detailed at the premises.

To him, the Nima Police should rather be in charge of NPP security at the Headquarters until issues surronding the General Secretary and the National Chairman, and the other Executives are resolved amicably.

But reacting to this allegation on the same platform, the leader of the Invisible Force, Ahmed Dennis told the host, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese that “nobody has stopped them coming to the party office”.

“We are there for the party to ensure that the party’s properties are secured and saved….it is our paramount duty to protect properties of the party and not to stop party officials from working at the Head Office”, he explained.

He however urged the Concerned Youth of NPP to come over for discussion on any matter they seek clarification on since they share the same interest.
