Accra Floods: SUVs, Sedans, Minivans Worth Millions Damaged At Toyota Ghana

Properties worth millions of Ghana Cedis are feared to have been destroyed by the torrential rains that rocked the country on Wednesday.

Dozens of vehicles including SUVs, sedans, minivans, etc parked at the garages of Toyota Ghana Company, Rana Motors, among many other auto shops operating along the Graphic Road in Accra have been damaged.

Business activities grinded to a halt on Thursday as managers and workers of these companies count their losses.

A blanket of dirty oil has formed a layer over dirty stagnant flood waters around the buildings.

Flood water at the frontage of the companies had reportedly receded but left in its wake a lot of filth yet to be cleared.

Managers of these companies declined comment but indicated a meeting is being scheduled on Thursday to assess the damage.
