Information available to peacefmonline.com indicates a demolition exercise is being carried out at Mile 7-Achimota, a suburb of Accra.

The demolition according to sources, has become necessary following the recent rains and havoc being caused by waterway structures and the call by some experts for those structures to be demolished.

Pictures available to peacefmonline.com shows a washing bay which has been demolished Friday morning.

A yet to be completed filling station in the area very close to the demolished Washing bay according to sources has also been earmarked to be demolished.

Available information says the demolition is being carried out by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of GA West Municipal Assembly, Mr Attorquaye Quaye.
