Eight people, including two pregnant women and two babies, have lost their lives in a car crash at Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo region.
The crash involved two vehicles in a head-on collision on the Atebubu-Mampong highway when an Opel Astra spurt its tyre and ran into the other, Accra-based Starr FM reported Tuesday.
According to the report, the accident occurred at a popular spot known as Dzato Zongo.
The bodies of the deceased have were deposited at the morgue, while four others who sustained injuries taken to the Atebubu Government Hospital, the report added.
