A 23-year-old son of former Majority Leader in Parliament Cletus Avoka, Maxwell Avoka has died.

He was said to have died on Thursday afternoon while undergoing military training at the Ghana Military Academy at Teshie.

Citifmonline reported that a family source confirmed the deceased was bleeding from the nose when he was sent to the hospital.

An elder brother of the deceased was said to have dropped him early on at the training school.

His father, Cletus Avoka is currently away in Malaysia on an official assignment and is on his way back.

The Ghana Armed Forces is yet to comment on the matter.
