Police Declare Travel And Tours CEO Wanted

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Excellent Favour Travel and Tour, Ofosu Dankyi is being chased by the Kaneshie police in Accra, for allegedly defrauding a traveler who wanted to do business in Dubai.

According to the police, one Kofi Adu Foster, lodged a complaint that he had been defrauded by the CEO of the Travel and Tour agency at Kaneshie; first light one year ago.

The police said, Mr. Adu was introduced to Mr. Dankyi through a friend to enable him secure a Dubai visa.

Mr. Dankyi then promised getting him the visa within a short period since his company was a partner to a company by name Joblink Africa, which secures visas for people who want to travel to all Gulf countries.

He, therefore, charged Mr. Adu, $1,800. After collecting the money, Mr. Dankyi was said to have absconded with no trace of him.

Several attempts by the police and the complainant to contact him through his cell phone lines have proved futile since he failed to answer the calls.

The Daily Heritage investigations have revealed that Mr. Dankyi who has branches of his company at Sunyani and Brekum in the Brong Ahafo region and other areas in the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Eastern regions has gone to the Registrar General Department to change the name of his company from Excellence Favour Travel and Tour to another in order to swerve his pursuers.

Meanwhile, many people who had fallen victims to the same Mr. Dankyi are said to be planning to report him to the law enforcement agencies to retrieve various sums of money allegedly collected from them to secure them visas to travel outside the country to seek greener pastures.

Attempts by this reporter to contact Mr. Dankyi through his cell phone number also proved futile.

The police have, therefore, appealed to the general public to provide any information leading to the arrest of the CEO and his accomplices who he has been using as his staff at the various branches to collect monies from unsuspecting clients.
