Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is amazed by the Commission’s recommendation to government to enroll him into a leadership training school.
 
Gyan in the Commission’s report to government was asked to join up in a Leadership training School to equip him with some leadership skill, a recommendation which was rejected by the government.

The Al Ain striker was questioned for his Leadership qualities after he was alleged not to have been able to direct his colleagues in a supposed conflict between management of the Black Stars and the playing body in the team’s World Cup campaign in Brazil.

The Commission in its recommendation suggested the 29-year-old would be enrolled in a training school to educate him on headship training skills.

Gyan in an interview with Metro TV’s Ernest Koronteng expressed shock at the Commission’s recommendation.

“I heard it. I was a bit surprise because my style of leading the team I do it whole heartedly.”

“I am not a fake person. I’m not fake. I am the way I am. Is not the matter of shouting on the field. That is my style, I do my things indoors and then on the field I use my energy to play. I don’t use my energy to shout on the field.

“I’m always myself. So I was a bit surprise though but that is what the Commission thinks. It doesn’t bother me because am not fake.

The former Sunderland attacker currently holds the record as the highest scorer for the Black Stars with 46 goals in 90 caps.
