Black Stars Striker Kwesi Appiah To Be Out For 6 Months After Undergoing Surgey

Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah is expected to return to active football in the next six months after undergoing a surgery on his knee injuries last Tuesday.

The Crystal Palace man picked up a double injury – an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury and a Collateragal Liment injury – during during a Black Stars training session in Accra ahead of the AFCON 2017 qualifier against Mauritius.

Appiah shone for Ghana in the 2015 African cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea where helped Ghana to the finals, losing to Ivory Coast on penalties.
