'Tension' As Avram Grant Leaves Ghana With Complaints Over Unpaid Bonuses

There was tension at the Ghana Football Association secretariat last week, with Black Stars coach Avram Grant having to leave the Accra for Europe with fury, according to a report by Angel FM. The reports says Grant was directed by the Ghana Football Association to spend some time in the country after the Mauritius game,but the coach declined the order and travelled to be with his family in Europe. It has been revealed that, the former Chelsea boss has complained about unpaid bonuses and allowances for several weeks and has however decided to take a legitimate 20 day-leave as stipulated in his contract. The reports however confirm that Avram Grant's three other assistants, who are also owed in bonuses and allowances have vowed to stay and reclaim their monies before leaving Accra. The three are housed at the luxurious Alisa Hotel in Accra at the cost of the Ghana Football Association The Israeli trainer has been criticised for not spending enough time in Ghana to monitor the local leagues to unearth talents for the national teams.
