Okyeame Invokes Gods Against Anti Mahama Voters

The Chief linguist of the Omanhene of Tepa Traditional area, Kyeame Kwame Poku, has invoked the wrath of the gods against all those who oppose the second term bid of President John Dramani Mahama.

The linguist, tasked with the pouring of libation when the President called on the Paramount Chief of Tepa, Nana Atwenewaa Ampem, noted that “all past heads of state in Ghana served two terms in office and anyone who does not want President Mahama to go for a second term should be dealt with by the gods”.

He was emphatic, during a mini durbar held at the forecourt of the villa of Tepahene that, anyone who does not want the President to go for another term should be taken away to the land of the ancestors by the gods, amidst unending applause by Party faithful, including the Regional Minister, Peter Anarfi-Mensah, Member of Parliament, Akwasi Aduesi, NDC Regional chairman, Yaw Obimeh and David Amnakwah, District Chief Executive of Ahafo Ano North.

“President Kufour and President Rawlings each served eight years. Why not President Mahama”, he asked, as he poured the dry gin on the ground.
