I Will Bring Akufo-Addo To Power - NPP Parliamentary Aspirant

A parliamentary aspirant for the Tema East Constituency, Benjamin Amarh Ashitey of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ticket has stated that he would win the seat with more than three votes in the 2016 general elections when given the nod to represent the people.

Mr. Ashitey also noted that he would ensure the party’s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo wins massively in the constituency to propel him to the Flagstaff House.

Speaking in an interview with reporters in Accra, the parliamentary aspirant stated that he was the best candidate to ensure that Mr. Akufo-Addo wins with high margins adding that the three vote difference that brought his contender to parliament would change.

“I will ensure that we win massively and Nana Akufo-Addo will record the highest votes ever when I am given the nod to represent Tema East,” the aspirant stated.

He added that he has been in touch with the delegates for a very long time and deserves to be rewarded for his hard work for the constituency.

“They know what I can do for them. I have worked for the party all my life and the delegates are ready to support me to become the parliamentary candidate of the party for the 2016 general election,” he added.

Mr. Ashitey said he would institute programmes to empower the youth and create job opportunities for them.

The Tema East constituency will have their parliamentary primary on Saturday after it was suspended.
