Al Ain Considering Offers For Asamoah Gyan

The UAE giants have admitted that they are deliberating whether to cash in on the Ghana forward. Al Ain have revealed that they have received several enquiries for Ghana superstar Asamoah Gyan, and are deliberating whether to sell the striker. According to The National, a club in Qatar have made a formal bid for the player, while a Chinese side are also readying a bid for the stiker. However, while Al Ain will consider the offers they receive for the player, they are not thought to be looking to sell. Gyan, who won the Arabian Gulf League last season, has enjoyed great successboth individually and collectivelysince moving to the club from Sunderland in 2011. He has scored 95 goals in 83 league matches to date for Al Zaeem, picking up the UAE Pro League Top Scorer award on three occasions. He has won the domestic league three times, while also lifting the Presidents Cup in 2014 and the Arabian Gulf Super Cup two years prior. However, his future is now in question, with moneyed Shanghai SIPG FC understood to be considering a 250,000-per-week offer for the Black Star. The Chinese giants face competition, however, from Lekhwiya of Qatar, who have already made a bid reported to be the equivalent of just under 18,000,000. Gyan is currently under contract at Al Ain until 2018, although, at 29, the Gulf club may be tempted to cash in on the forward, despite the status he enjoys in Abu Dhabi. Speaking to The National, Al Ain board member Bin Omair has expressed his desire to see the Stade Rennais hitman at the club next season. Everybody talks about Gyan, he began. Hes a good player and he is our player. We do not lose him. But there are many offers coming to us, so we have to study these to see yes or no. All the clubs in the world are like this. And also Gyan himself has to study them to see what he needs.
