Talensi has always been an NDC seat. The NDC lost that seat because John Akologo Tia had issues with some chiefs and people in the Constituency, which he did not address before the 2012 elections. NDC lost because of the PERSON who contested. It was an accidental win, which the NPP should not make too much noise.

If the NDC wins the seat, (and it is very likely the NDC will win) it won't mean anything. It won't be a big deal. It won't be a litmus test, as Oga JM wants us to believe.

What this election should rather tell us is that, there is money in the country. The money will be spent next year on elections. God will help the poor whose resources are often used for the campaigns.
