NACOB Warns Ghanaians Over Recruitment

The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) is serving notice to the general public that it is not recruiting personnel and warned them to be circumspect with miscreants who are duping people with a promise of providing them with jobs at the Board.

A statement signed by Executive Secretary, Yaw Akrasi-Sarpong and copied to the DAILY HERITAGE, stated that, “Before NACOB embarks on any recruitment exercise there will be at least two newspaper advertisements by NACOB.”

According to him, the board has information that some “unscrupulous people with criminal intent” are going about promising to offer people jobs at NARCOB.

“The public is advised to report any person(s) who purports to act as agent of NACOB for the purpose of any recruitment into the employ of NACOB to the nearest Police Station or to the headquarters of NACOB.”

“It has come to the attention of NACOB that some unscrupulous persons with criminal intent are going about deceiving and duping unsuspecting people under false pretences with promise of securing employment for the NARCOB,” it stated
