Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari�s status as the superstar of Italian club Inter Milan has been confirmed after he was handed the club�s legendary number 11 jersey.The former Liberty professionals winger will get to wear the famous number 11 jersey worn previously by legends of the Italian side.
Muntari has only ever worn the number 11 during his childhood days. At some clubs in Europe he wore the number 20 as he did in England. He was given the coveted 11 at Inter on Saturday and now joins a list of great names who have worn the number 11 of the club.
The confirmation of the numbers adds further strength to the voices claiming he will be staying following previous reported interest from other clubs in Europe. The club have stressed that the numbers are still only provisional and will be updated once the final squad list is submitted to the Serie A.
