Ghana midfielder Andre Dede Ayew will play in a friendly match on Tuesday that will decide whether Hertha Berlin will offer him a contract. The 19-year-old has been on trials with the German Bundesliga since last week but coach Lucien Favre needs a game to properly access the youngster. Ayew is expected to start the friendly against lower division side Lubars in the evening. The winger is fighting for the one midfielder slot at the club with Ivan Perisic who is also on trials from French side Sochaux. Both players are expected to play in the game. Ayew has been told by his French club Marseille to look for opportunities elsewhere after coach Didier Deschamps declared him surplus to requirements.
