Vodafone Ghana has launched Season 5 of its award-winning television show, Healthline to empower Ghanaians with quality healthcare.

The 13-episode series has started airing on UTV at 9pm on Mondays, with a repeated version on TV3 on Saturdays at 6:30pm. The multi-award winning programme will cover topics such as bones and joints, pregnancy, mental health, hypertension, diabetes and sex.

Additionally, it will interact with some of Healthline’s past beneficiaries to find out how their lives have been impacted by the programme.

Commenting on the extent to which the new season will transform lives, Agnes Emefa Essah, Marketing Director of Vodafone Ghana said:

“Season 5 of the three-time CIMG Television Programme of the Year will highlight exciting segments including a summary edit of the last season to open each episode.

The show will also recognise and acknowledge organizations and individuals who are driving awareness of health issues and quality healthcare in the communities. Healthline continues to define the essence of what we stand for as a company – to be committed to the communities in which we live and work’’.

Speaking on the new season, Dr. Lorraine Baffour, a resident Healthline medical practitioner said:

“This year’s season will focus on unearthing the various myths surrounding diseases, respond to questions from the general public, and touch the lives of friends, families, customers and the nation as a whole”.

The show, which originally aired for 52-minutes, has now been repackaged to air for 26-minutes on UTV and TV3.

Healthline, since 2011, has paid for and arranged both life-saving and life-changing surgeries for hundreds of deprived patients across Ghana.
