Mother Of Prez Mahama's Gunman Should Not Go Free...Hold Her Culpable For Son's Action - Ade Coker

Ade Coker, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), says mother of President Mahama's alleged assassin should be held culpable for her son's assassination attempts.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Chairman Ade Coker noted that the mother, family and friends of Charles Antwi (the gunman) should have reported his intents to the Police Service.

According to him, the mother should have informed the Police about her son's interest to kill the President.

For her failure to report her son to the Police before Charles Antwi's arrest at the President's church, to Ade Coker, apparently makes the mother and those testifying about the mental illness of the gunman complicit in the assassination attempt.

“Those that he told them that he wanted to kill the President; they should have made the effort to inform the security services. They didn’t do it and we should hold her mother culpable that you knew your son said he would kill the President.”

He further expressed no pity for Charles Antwi, who is alleged to be having psychological problems, because to the NDC Regional Chairman; "he (gunman) is not a victim. He can never be a victim."
