NPP parliamentary aspirant for Okaikoi South Vicky Bright has left the race. She says her decision is informed by the fraudulent nature of the contest.
Bright is accusing her main contender Ahmed Arthur of certificate-cheating.
Her petition to party executives to disqualify Arthur over the certificate impasse failed.
Addressing a news conference in Accra Saturday, the former legal advisor to former President John Kufuor said she cannot be part of a fraudulent contest.
The move leaves Ahmed Arthur as the only candidate in tomorrow’s contest.
