A lone strike from Togolese import Foovi Aguidi propelled Hearts of Oak to record an important 1-0 victory over Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park. Alhassan Nuhu and Fusienu Nuhu were on target for New Edubiase with Isaah Yakubu and Mohammed Sheriff Deo scoring for Inter-Allies. League leaders Ashanti Gold had their points gap cut short following a 0-0 stalemate with Bechem United in Bechem.
