NDC Youth Lock Up Party Office

Some irate youth of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Tarkwa Nusaem constituency in the Western region have lock up the party office. Their action according to reports was necessitated by the decision by party leadership to impose a new party Chairman on them. Former Constituency deputy Secretary, George Gadd who led the youth said the decision by the leadership is in contravention of the NDC constitution. He told Adom News the successor of their late chairman, Stephen Kwakye Antwi should be his vice but some executives are scheming to impose their own candidate on the party. Article 26 of the NDC constitution states that in the absence of the chairman that vice should act so we wont allow the leadership to flout the law" he added. Mr. Gadd said they have decided to lock up the office until the leadership in Tarkwa Nusaem rescind the decision and follow due process.
