<<Print>>The odd white lie or embellished story is human nature, with a new Australian study revealing the top lies men and women tell and highlighting the major differences between the sexes. The research also revealed that Australian women are the biggest liars on social media, with 64 per cent of them found to have made embellished or deceitful statements on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram – as opposed to just 36 per cent of men.
The information was published as part of a wider five year project by Sydney advertising agency, The Works, to quantify levels of deceit online.
