Sarkodie Is Special To Me Efya

Multiple award-winning songstress Efya has said rapper Sarkodie is special to her. She said this ahead of the release of a new single titled, “Jorley” featuring the BET Award winner.

The new song, which was officially released yesterday, is produced by Killbeat. “Jorley”, literally meaning lover, is a mid-tempo groovy Afrobeat song which kicks off with an African drum rhythmically blended with piano tones. It is in three verses: two verses of the usual soulful and captivating vocal delivery from Efya whilst Sarkodie masterfully delivers his bars on another verse.

Rendered in Twi, French, Ga and English, the song is about two love birds expressing their love and affection to each other. It goes on to talk about how lovers should treat and respect each other, stay glued to each other and not allow the love they believe in wane.

According to Efya, “it is really nice to have Sarkodie on a song again; it is an awesome experience. And whenever I have him on my song or we work together, the result has always been something good. Our chemistry is always perfect.”

“He is special to me, we communicate very well and he is someone I go to if I need advice. This is because he has been to a lot of places and understands the industry well and is always willing to give me a helping hand,” she added.

She also announced that her next album would be ready on October 10, 2015.

Efya is adored by fans across the continent for her soulful voice and exciting performances. She has to her credit major hit singles such as “Little Things”, “Best In Me”, “Forgetting Me”, “Life” and “Gingam Too Much” among others.

Jorley is expected to gather her more following in the coming weeks
