Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has said, the striking doctors are been manipulated by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to destruct President John Dramni Mahama�s "smooth" governance.

According to her, the doctors are � �Just worrying President Mahama, why?� she asked.

The Ghana Medical Association declared a nationwide strike action a week ago after their negotiations with government on their conditions of service hit a deadlock.

However, President John Dramni Mahama had indicated to them [doctors] clearly that he will not spend a cedi outside the 2014-2015 budget on unplanned expenditure.

The president�s comment according Madam Akua Donkor on NEAT FM�s morning show "Ghana Montie" is laudable and �perfect�.

She insisted that � �the doctors must understand the president. He [Prez Mahama] cannot spend outside the 2015 budget. They should wait till 2016�.

�I will personally fight for the doctors if government failed to fulfil their promise for the doctors in 2016,� the rib-tickling-politician added.�
