Christian Lifestyle Magazine, Evangel Launched

The maiden edition of the Christian lifestyle magazine, Evangel has been launched at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Mamprobi last weekend. Speaking at the launch of the magazine, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Seth Agidi called on the youth to challenge themselves by engaging in reading more Christian literature instead of spending time on social media. He lauded the Evangel team for taking up such great initiative of starting a Christian Magazine that will serve not just content from the Evangelical Presbyterian Church but also go beyond and cover contents from other churches. At the end of his speech, he called on the Ghana Medical Association and all striking doctors to rethink their strike decision and go back to save human lives while negotiations with government continues. The maiden edition dubbed �The Alpha Edition� features Dr. Nelson K.R. Damale, an Obstetrician Gynaecologist and lecturer at the Korle bu Hospital on the cover page for his immense contribution to reducing maternal health death among pregnant women. It also features popular Ghanaian actor and pastor, Timothy Bentum, who shares his inspirational life changing story. Editor-In-Chief, Solomon S. He as well mentioned that, the Evangel team will take up a social responsibility initiative by identifying deprived communities within and outside the region and support them with basic needs to help them improve their living standards.
