Sellas Tetteh Appointed As Caretaker Coach For Sierra-Leon

Ghana U20 Coach Sellas Tetteh has been appointed as a caretaker coach for the Sierra Leonean senior national team. Ghanaportsonline.com can confirm. Tetteh will be in charge of the Leon stars for the next three months as the Sierra Leonean Football Association keep the hunt for a new coach. The 58-year-old will have his first assignment on September 5 when he leads his charges to face Cote d� Ivoire in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. The experienced Ghanaian tactician will thus be having his second coaching stint with a senior national team after handling the Rwandan National team in 2010. The former Black Stars assistant coach made history by becoming the first ever African coach to win the FIFA U20 World Cup after leading the Black Satellites to clinch Gold at the 2009 World Youth Champions in Egypt.
