NPPs Investigation Team Unearths Fundamental Flaws In Voters' Register

As the nation prepares for the 2016 general elections, series of calls have emanated from the quarters of the New Patriotic Party demanding the Electoral Commission compiles a new voters’ register.

In the wake of the campaign, the NPP’s General Secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has held series of meetings with other political parties to get them support the call for a new voters’ register for the 2016 elections.

To get the EC yield to their quest and prepare adequately for the impending general elections, the leadership of the party would on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 address the nation on the need to assemble a new and credible voter’s register, according to a press statement copied to Peacefmonline.com.

During the presentation, the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate Dr. Bawumia, would be sharing with Ghanaians the evidence gathered by the NPP’s investigation team that demonstrates why the current voters’ register is “fundamentally flawed and must be changed in order to guarantee a fair playing field for credible elections next year”.
