Andre Ayew Targets More Goals For Swansea

The deputy Ghana captain is anticipating a scoring run in his first season in England after finding his name on the score sheet in two consecutive games for The Jacks. Swansea winger Andre Ayew says he is looking to register more goals for his new side following his glorious start to life in the English Premier League after finding back of the net in his first two league games. The 25-year-old joined the English side last June from French outfit Marseille on a free transfer, and has wasted no time in enduring himself to the fans after scoring in the season's opener against Chelsea as well as against Newcastle United. The guys have really helped me settle, and I am happy to have scored in both games, Ayew told Swansea official website. I hope it continues like this, but the most important thing is that Swansea win. The team spirit is really good here. When you come from a different country, it is important that the guys help you, and that is what has happened to me here. Andre scored the second goal in his sides 2-0 win over Newcastle United at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday. I am really pleased to have played my first game at home in front of the fans. Hopefully, we can achieve more victories to make them happy, Ayew added. One of five Ghana internationals in the English Premier League, alongside Jeffery Schlupp, Christian Atsu, Jordan Ayew and latest Chelsea signing Abdul Rahman Baba, Ayew would hope to make it three out of three when Swansea travel to face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in their next league fixture on Saturday.
