Controversies surrounding the New Patriotic Party’s call for a new voters’ register with counter arguments from the quarters of the National Democratic Congress has made the issue a challenging one to deal with.
The Electoral Commission (EC) remains the last resort both parties are depending on to know their fate; but before that is made known, Kwami Sefa Kayi has waded into the matter to give his take.
The seasoned broadcaster was hosted on Okay FM’s ‘EKWANSO DWOODWOO’ by Abeiku Santana and revealed the sadness he feels when developmental issues are clumped down and choked at the throat by some selfish politicians.
Instead of politicizing the issue, Sefa Kayi advised politicians to allow the EC perform its mandate without intimidation from any quarters.
Kwami Sefa Kayi tasked the EC to carefully study the case by cross checking from its database and do the nation good by letting everyone know whether the petition brought before it by the NPP lacks merit or not.
