I'll Unseat Hanna Tetteh - Fmr. DCE

Constituency, Hanna Tetteh is likely to face fierce competition in the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) primaries as a retired soldier and member of the party, vows to unseat her.

According to Lieutenant Danny William Osardu, Hanna Tetteh has lost touch with the people of the Awutu Senya West constituency, hence it will not be safe to field her on the ticket of the NDC in the 2016 elections.

Liutenant Osardu who is also a former District Chief Executive of the area, argued that the constituents are disappointed in Hanna Tetteh since their plights are inaudible in Parliament, especially during important parliamentary debates because of her busy schedule and would not answer phone calls either.

Speaking to Citi News,  the former campaign manager for Bab Lami in 1996, Nana Larbi in 2008 and Hanna Tetteh in 2000 and 2012 said “the party has been very dormant since his exit as the constituency chairman and that he is the bait that would lure majority of the constituents to vote for the National Democratic Congress in the Awutu Senya West.”

The Parliamentary hopeful also said, “when I declared my intentions to contest the seat, all and sundry in the constituency trooped in and promised me of massive votes.”

The veteran security personnel believes that his relationship with the constituents coupled with an enviable political experiences for holding offices such as District Chief Executive (D.C.E), presiding member, constituency chairman and assembly member would help win the seat hands down.

He said when given the mandate, “I would initiate youth programs that would provide in-depth education about prospects of agriculture that would attract them.

Whoever wins the NDC’s parliamentary primaries in the area would battle the NPP’s George Andah in the 2016 election.
