Sam George Tells E.T. Mensah: Ningo-Prampram Parliamentary Seat Is Not Heredity

Many describe him as the “Mugabe in Ningo-Prampram – why, because he has occupied the constituency parliamentary seat for the past 13 years and still counting.

It is believed that no other political party can win the Ningo-Prampram parliamentary seat provided NDC’s E. T. Mensah is contesting – not even his own party members have won MP’s primaries in the electorate for the past decade to retire him as a legislator.

But Hon. E. T. Mensah is about to “meet his meeter” – from an NDC communicator who has been outspoken and tagged as a “foul communicator” within the ruling party.

Presidential staffer - Sam George who has declared his intention to contest for the Ningo-Prampram Parliamentary seat in the NDC’s up-coming MP’s primaries has stated emphatically that E.T. Mensah is “beatable” in any elections.

In an interview on NEAT FM’s "Ghana Montie", Sam George insisted that the Ningo-Prampram seat – “Does not belong to E.T. Mensah”, adding that – “It is not heredity for the Mensah family”.

He however claimed that the – “The Ningo-Prampram youth want a change and they [the youth] inspired me to contest the seat”.

Despite his robust message to the veteran lawmaker, he lauded his achievements in the constituency but maintained that – “He [E.T. Mensah] must go.”

Sam George told host Kwasi Aboagye - “I am not afraid to contest E.T Mensah. The youth want change so we must campaign for change”.

He finally went biblical – “God will make a way where there’s seems to be no way. He will make me a winner. I will not promise what I cannot do for my constituency. They know what I am capable of doing”
