Director of Public Affairs at Parliament Jones Kugblenu has passed on, Peacefmonline.com can confirm.
Mr Kugblenu's unfortunate demise occured on Tuesday. He had earlier sought medical attention at a health facility in the United Kingdom, but sources say he was brought down to Ghana, a couple of days ago.
Andrew Edwin Arthur, Dean of the Parliamentary Press Corps, who confirmed this to PeaceFM News, also disclosed that the deceased had been unwell for sometime now and had even been on sick leave.
The Public Affairs Directorate of the Parliamentary Service coordinates Media and Public Relations work of the lawmaking body, involving the maintenance of continuous liaison with the media, governmental organisations and civil society organisations.
The outfit also deals with matters concerning the Press Gallery.
