Please Come To My Aid - Comedian Appeals To Prez Mahama

A comedian, Samuel Otto, known in showbiz as Ghana Boy, has made a passionate appeal to President John Mahama to come to his aid and help him make a living as a blind man.

Ghana Boy was part of the early group of comedians who starred in Keysoap Concert Party.

Ghana Boy said his woes started after he started having problems with his eye in 2007 which eventually led to him becoming blind.

“My living condition is very bad and many people have neglected me because of my blindness. I don’t have a place to live and even what to eat is also a problem for me”, he said worriedly.

The comedian who performed alongside the likes of Bob Okala, Bob Santo and Nkomode said his predicament have med him homeless despite travelling to and fro to raise high the flag of Ghana as a comedian.

“Yes, I have performed in many other countries through the comedy show, lifting the Flag of Ghana very high but help is coming from nowhere”, he lamented.

He noted that despite being blind, he could still do other jobs like acting, working on radio among others but he is not offered the chance.

“I am only blind but my senses are working correctly and can do many other jobs, like acting movies, being on radio, I can do all these things”, he said.

He therefore appealed to the owners of radio stations, directors and producers of movie production to engage him since he still has the skills.
