Obour Needs To Lose 30 More Kilos" - Fitness Instructor

Mr. Ben Asare, a fitness instructor, has cleared MUSIGA president, Bice Osei-Kuffour, extremely obese. He made this declaration after a body mass index (BMI) checkup carried out during the launch of the rapper known as Obours Fit-in-6 reality show. According to the General Manager of Pulse Fitness Centre, for Obours height, he was supposed to have a BMI below 33 to be just obese. BMI 35.3 is obese times two and a serious health risk. Obour, who weighs 100kg, had an abnormal body fat of 32.3. Obour said he weighed 113kg, two months ago so 100kg was a great improvement but the well-built fitness instructor said, Obour needs to lose 30 more kilos and weigh 70 kilos before he could be called a healthy person. Obour argued with the methodology of measurement of the fitness centre the Fit-in-6 team have hired to help him lose weight. He said he weighed 98 kilos just the two days before the day of the launch so the scales 100kg reading was inaccurate. He, however, conceded he needed a vigorous fitness regime to get healthy. The fitness regime, which will documented for a reality show to be called Fit-in-6, will focus the first two weeks on Obours cardio system to prepare his body for the heavy task ahead. The early days of the 6-months program will involve Obour hitting the gym twice a week, then increase to thrice and then to more times with time. Mr. Asare said, it will be unhealthy to start a heavy fitness practice at once and that the body needed time to adjust to the exercise. The boss of the fitness centre located in the World Trade Centre and Lizzys Sports Complex said, as part of the fitness campaign, a blood test will be done on Obour to determine the best eating practice for him. The Project Manager for the Fit-in-6 project, Nayasad, said the reality show angle was to create a platform for a conversation on healthy living among the youth. We have lost a lot of young talented people in recent times and we need to take action to protect ourselves through an advocacy for healthy practices. He added, the Fit-in-6 project will have a fitness app, a health-conscious website and social media as part of the campaign. He said, corporate bodies and individuals interested in partnering the show could reach them via email, [email protected]. The show, which will start shooting from next week, will be produced by web and media house, BlooSpidaz and Obours record label, Family Tree Entertainment in association with entertainment TV station, 4Syte TV and Pulse Fitness Centre.
