It was an emotional moment for Zenaida, who has been with the channel for four years. She couldn't hold back her tears when snippets of her newsreading from 2011 till date were aired on 'This Morning'.

She expressed appreciation to the team at Viasat1 for the opportunity to work with them, adding that she has learnt a lot during her time with the channel.

Zenaida joined Viasat1 in 2011 as a news anchor, bringing a wealth of experience, both local and international. She was first to read the Visat1 News and later proved to be a creative person with a flair for media, communications and marketing.

Zenaida started her career as a University student in London with MTV Networks Europe, working in research for news with directors and programme managers. She continued to work in media as a production assistant for a media house called Remedy Productions, a subsidiary of Channel Four. She became the daily script writer, research and editor and was able to develop these skills in her capacity.

Later in Ghana, Zenaida worked as a marketing executive, presenter and senior producer at TV Africa, before joining Viasat1 in 2011. She is a consummate professional with an eye for quality in execution.

During her time at Viasat1, Zenaida was creative, vibrant and passionate about her work, bringing an unparalleled level of experience and expertise to bear on her projects. She produced a mini documentary on the June 3 fire and flood disaster at Circle, which brought viewers up-close and personal with a survivor who almost lost his life.

Viasat1 wishes her the best in her future endeavours.
